“mOOse butt”

The “mOOse butt” cabin is a cozy escape located
at the eastern end of the property steps from the shores of the mighty
Skootamatta.
-
A great spot to enjoy a morning coffee with
the sun beaming down and the river gently flowing by.

You may catch an early
morning glimpse of a blue heron or a beaver perched on shore cleaning
a twig at dusk.

As the name suggests the cabin also enjoys a view of
kOsmO’s the moose’s private pond and waterfall, and you guessed, a
back-side view of kOsmo himself!

In addition to these spectacular vistas the
cabin offers a comfy queen-size bed with a kitchenette as well as a
gas BBQ. It has a full bathroom with stall shower.

The
cabin is beautifully finished in pine and was originally built as a
play house for the owner's children.

We like to remind our guests
that the cabin is considered “rustic”.

It has full power and running
water but like your typical cottage you might encounter a spider or an
ant.
mOOse mOtel units
The mOOse has two standard motel units located in
the main building.

One unit offers one queen size bed while the
second unit has two double beds.

Both units have full bathrooms with
shower and tub, satellite TV and coffee service.

Units do not have
telephones.

Both units are non-smoking and due to the limited number
of units available we do not have accommodation facilities for pets.
QUEEN UNIT - $75 / NIGHT
DOUBLE UNIT - $95 / NIGHT
LONG TERM ACCOMMoosDATION
The mOOse has three long term apartment units:

A fully furnished bachelor unit which, is
available for stays ranging from 1 week up to 1 year.

An unfurnished one-bedroom apartment which, is
available for a one year term with extensions beyond.

An unfurnished two-bedroom apartment which, is
available for a one year term with extensions beyond

All units have
full kitchens (no dishwashers) and large walk-in showers.

The units
are also wheel-chair friendly.

The unfurnished units have laundry
facilities and a sliding glass door which walks out to a deck with
views of the river.
